Os Guinness concludes his book, Long Journey Home, with the observation, “We find God only because we are found by God.” Herein lies perhaps life's greatest mystery, that man's quest for meaning and redemption is in the end the story of the Lord “seeking and saving that which was lost,” (Luke 19:10) And unless we understand this - unless we are able to keep first things first - we run the risk of missing just how “amazing” the grace that has saved us truly is. Hosted by Eric Holmberg of The Apologetics Group, this three-part presentation examines this great mystery as well as the historical struggle to make sure that it was understood and embraced by the inheritor of God's mysteries, the Church. |
